Ch 5, join with a sl st to form a ring.
Rnd 1: Ch 3, work 15 tr into ring, join with a sl st into top of beg ch-3.
Fasten off.
Rnd 2: Join new colour in any tr, ch 1, work a puff st in same tr and in each tr around, join with a sl st into top of 1st puff st.
Fasten off.
Rnd 3: Join new colour in any ch-1 sp, ch 2, work a cluster st in same sp, ch 2, * work a cluster st in next ch-1 sp, ch 2, rep from * around, join with a sl st into top of 1st cluster st.
Fasten off.
Rnd 4: Join new colour in any ch-2 sp, ch 4, work 2 dtr, ch 2, 3 dtr into same sp, * work 3 tr into next ch-2 sp, work 3 htr into next ch-2 sp, work 3 tr into next ch-2 sp, work 3 dtr, ch 2, 3 dtr into next ch-2 sp, rep from * twice, work 3 tr into next ch-2 sp, work 3 htr into next ch-2 sp, work 3 tr into next ch-2 sp, join with a sl st into top of beg ch-4.
Sl st across to ch-2 corner sp.
Rnd 5: Ch 3, work 1 tr, ch 2, 2 tr into same sp, work 1 tr into ea st around, working 2 tr, ch 2, 2 tr into ea ch-2 corner sp, join with a sl st into top of beg ch-3.
Fasten off.
Rnd 6: Join new colour in any ch-2 corner sp, ch 2, work 1 htr, ch 2, 2 htr into same sp, work 1 htr into ea st around, working 2 htr, ch 2, 2 htr into ea ch-2 corner sp, join with a sl st into top of beg ch-2.
Fasten off.

I love the colour fluency of the Manos Del Uruguay (Alegria) yarn.
Abby explains,
Alegria is a wonderfully soft hand painted machine washable sock yarn that is perfect for many other projects as well. It comes in 12 stunning colour mixes and a pattern booklet that has 13 original patterns, all of which only use 1 skein. As with all Manos Del Uruguay yarns there are no dyelots and each skein is unique and signed by the women who made it. As such if you are using more than one skein they recommend knitting using 2 hanks alternately.

I’m often asked the question . . . how do you change colours at the end of a row?
So today I thought I’d do a quick how to!
Work rhythmically, row by row in dc (sc).
To change colour, partially complete the last dc (sc) of a row as shown below.
Select a new colour and join with a single knot as shown below.
Complete the last dc (sc) with the new colour and continue.
